THERE are indications that the rumoured senatorial ambition of the wife of the governor emeritus of Lagos state, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu may be true. Among friends and associates and party members, the senatorial ambition of the former first lady has remained an open secret. She is said to hold the idea closely to her chest while the ground work continues. Since the election is around the corner, with activities shaping up to that effect, it is now becoming clearer that it may not be a fluke after all. Societywatch gathered that the elegant former first lady is already attending political meetings in her constituency where she is likely to run. Sources hinted us that she has been attending the grassroot meeting under Lagos West senatorial District. Sources also said she has been consulting with politicians within the state, a step that is believed to be for a smooth sail through to the senate. Senator Muse holds the current ticket for the senatorial district which will be relinquished next year May. The fear is real just as it is said to be causing jitters among supporters of Senator Muse who will have to forgo the ambition of another term in the senate.
