Aliero Okotie-Eboh-Jadesinmi’s flowers talk

FOR Alero Okotie-Eboh Jadesimi one of the descent of the famous Okotie-Eboh, the ‘lovey-dovey’ stuff that comes with the February 14th, lover’s day is not complete without flowers. She believes all the thoughts of roses and cupids could be better appreciated when one comes to see the nature and assortment abound in a place like Flowerstalk.
The emporium is located on the Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. Dignitaries from all walks of life including the former Commonwealth Secretary General, Dr. Emeka Anyakou and his wife, Dr. Charles Hammond, Chief Ikimi’s wife and a host of others were in attendance to celebrate the lover’s day. Guests were treated to poetry reading, beautiful music renditions from a live band including different guest artistes who rendered various jazz and love songs. The ambience was love charged with roses and the traditional red colour associated with love was dominant.
Aliero Okotie_Eboh Jadesimi, the Managing Director of the Flowerstalk said “it is a day for celebration love, caring and affection. One of the things associated with Valentine is flowers and we have flowers here and we thought we should make flowers talk to people that come.” The flowers did talk and virtually all those that were present could assimilate the language of the flowers., but then, not only on February 14.
