Aliero Okotie-Eboh-Jadesinmi’s flowers talk

Aliero Okotie_Eboh Jadesimi, the Managing Director of the Flowerstalk said “it is a day for celebration love, caring and affection. One of the things associated with Valentine is flowers and we have flowers here and we thought we should make flowers talk to people that come.” The flowers did talk and virtually all those that were present could assimilate the language of the flowers., but then, not only on February 14.

Adaeze relocates to US for ante-natal care


THAT the former Queen MBGN (2008) and wife of Nigeria International footballer, Joseph Yobo, Adaeze Chineye Yobo may be pregnant is no news but the hot gist now is that the delectable wife of the Super Eagles’ defender is currently on the verge of relocating from her UK base to United States. The reason for that according to close source was to prepare her for delivery. We gathered that the couple who decided to not take any thing by chance concluded the arrangement recently.
Sources claimed that the arrangement might be borne out of the convenience since Adaeze is likely to conclude her studies in one film institute in New York soonest and it will be better to remain in the US for ante-natal care preparatory to delivery.
The duo tied the knot recently in Jos, Plateau state after the officiating Prophet Isah El Buba declared that they are born again Christian.

Celebs shift loyalty to Patience Jonathan


THERE are indications that the recent development that saw Vice President Goodluck Jonathan assuming the position of the Acting President may have caused some celebrities loyal to the substantive First lady, Turai Yar’Adua to shift ground. We gathered that shortly after the Acting President assumed office, there has been conjectures on who is in charge as the first lady since the position is yet only on acting capacity.
Sources hinted that in the last few days, celebrities who until now identified with the style, and office of the Turai Yar’Adua as first lady are visiting the wife of the acting President, Dame Patience Jonathan in droves.
Meanwhile our source close to the First Lady could not be reached to get her reaction but we gathered that activities in her office have slowed down. If that will mean a smart move from the concerned celebrities, only time will tell.

Emeka Anyaoku ‘n’ wife in Valentine mood


A gathering of couples and loved ones in an environment where love is expressed in different ways is not uncommon on every 14th of February. Last Sunday, the former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku stepped out with his ageless wife to have a feel of the lover’s day. The happy couple were at the Flowerstalk owned by Alero Okotie-Eboh Jadesimi on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, to reaffirm their evergreen love. The former scribe of the Commonwealth who believes flowers are very appropriate symbol of communicating love to dear ones took time to inspect the variety of items available at the flower emporium and when he was asked whether he has presented his wife a flower, he smiled and answered in the affirmative.
He said, “It is time when lovers and couples reaffirmed their love, and also a day when prospective couple exchanged affection in the hope of getting married and that is why my wife and I are very pleased to be here.”

Remi Tinubu’s ‘ambition’ comes alive


THERE are indications that the rumoured senatorial ambition of the wife of the governor emeritus of Lagos state, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu may be true. Among friends and associates and party members, the senatorial ambition of the former first lady has remained an open secret. She is said to hold the idea closely to her chest while the ground work continues. Since the election is around the corner, with activities shaping up to that effect, it is now becoming clearer that it may not be a fluke after all. Sources hinted us that she has been attending the grassroot meeting under Lagos West senatorial District. Sources also said she has been consulting with politicians within the state, a step that is believed to be for a smooth sail through to the senate. Senator Muse holds the current ticket for the senatorial district which will be relinquished next year May. The fear is real just as it is said to be causing jitters among supporters of Senator Muse who will have to forgo the ambition of another term in the senate.

Tricia’s Olive branch heals wounds


PRETTY actress and Boldfaces presenter, Tricia Esiegbe and her long time friend, Oby Edozie, a Nollywood actress, may have sheathed their swords for peace and good friendship to exist.
We heard that Tricia offered the olive branch to her friend before her wedding last December which marked the beginning of the process that saw the two coming together again. We also gathered that Oby not only accepted the olive branch but also ensured that it became a success. We also gathered that she did not only attend the wedding as a guest but as a major player in the colourful wedding. Societywatch learnt she made some gifts which were shared to guests at the wedding just to show that she had buried the hatchet.
Both used to be best of friends until sometime ago when the issue of a boyfriend tore them apart.
Their bitter quarrel made the headlines as both of them called each other names on the pages of newspapers and they never saw eyeball to eyeball for more than two years.

TuFace, wife at daggers drawn


AFRICAN Queen Crooner, Innocent Ujah Idibia a.k.a Tuface has enmeshed himself in another feminine controversy, this time with one of his women sparking off accusation of abandoning his fatherly responsibility on the two kids born by this estranged woman.
We gathered that the woman who works with one of the financial institutions in Lagos is on a war path with TuFace accusing him of not carrying out his fatherly role to her two kids. She was said to have visited the songster where she bitterly complained about the development. Inside source said the argument snowballed into a big quarrel that saw the embittered wife hitting the songster.
Sources disclosed that TuFace quickly pulled a call through to his mother intimating her of the development. The mother, we heard, in return called the angry woman who denied that she was being violent.
Our source watched and listened as the woman placated her mother-in-law while the phone conversation lasted. After the call, the young lady continued her raving and ranting, vowing to continue the trend until he carries out his obligations on the two kids as a father.
